Migrena ("the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Migraine logs (severity, location, duration, triggers, notes)
• Health data from Apple HealthKit (sleep, steps, heart rate variability) — only with your explicit permission
• Weather data from Apple WeatherKit (temperature, humidity, barometric pressure)
• Onboarding profile data (gender, frequency, lifestyle baselines)
• App preferences and settings

All health and migraine data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework and protected by iOS device-level encryption.

2. On-Device AI

Migrena uses on-device artificial intelligence (Apple Foundation Models) to analyze your migraine patterns and generate predictions. All AI processing happens locally on your device. No migraine data, health data, or personal information is sent to any cloud AI service.

3. Analytics

Migrena uses Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics such as screen views, feature usage, and subscription events. This helps us improve the app experience. No health data, migraine logs, severity scores, trigger details, or personally identifiable information is ever sent to Mixpanel.

4. HealthKit Data

If you grant permission, Migrena reads health data from Apple HealthKit, including sleep analysis, step count, and heart rate variability. This data is:

• Used exclusively to correlate health patterns with migraine occurrences
• Processed entirely on your device
• Never shared with third parties
• Never used for advertising or marketing purposes
• Never sold to any entity

5. Location Data

Migrena requests location access solely to retrieve weather conditions (barometric pressure, temperature, humidity) from Apple WeatherKit. Your location is not stored, logged, or transmitted to any server beyond Apple's weather service.

6. Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions. Only anonymous transaction data is processed.
• Mixpanel — collects anonymous app usage analytics. No health data is shared.
• Apple WeatherKit — retrieves weather data based on your location.
• Apple HealthKit — reads health data with your permission.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any health or personal data with third parties. The only data that leaves your device is:

• Anonymous usage analytics sent to Mixpanel (no health data included)
• Anonymous subscription transaction data processed by Apple and RevenueCat
• PDF reports you choose to export and share manually

8. Children's Privacy

Migrena is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings within the app. Deleting the app also removes all locally stored data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page.
