Migrena ("the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

All health and migraine data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework and protected by iOS device-level encryption.

2. On-Device AI

Migrena uses on-device artificial intelligence (Apple Foundation Models) to analyze your migraine patterns and generate predictions. All AI processing happens locally on your device. No migraine data, health data, or personal information is sent to any cloud AI service.

3. Analytics

Migrena uses Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics such as screen views, feature usage, and subscription events. This helps us improve the app experience. No health data, migraine logs, severity scores, trigger details, or personally identifiable information is ever sent to Mixpanel.

If you grant permission, Migrena reads health data from Apple HealthKit, including sleep analysis, step count, and heart rate variability. This data is:

Migrena requests location access solely to retrieve weather conditions (barometric pressure, temperature, humidity) from Apple WeatherKit. Your location is not stored, logged, or transmitted to any server beyond Apple's weather service.
