Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Oratori (“the App”, operated by Mohammed Salim Humaiyad) collects, how it is used, and how you can control it. It is written to be specific to Oratori — not generic boilerplate.
Summary
Oratori is a cloud-assisted AI speech coach. When you record a clip inside the app, that audio is sent to our backend servers at api.oratori.apflowhq.com for analysis, and the feedback (scores, filler-word timestamps, suggested drills) is returned to your device. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train unrelated models.
Audio recordings
- What: short audio clips you record inside the app.
- How: sent over HTTPS to our backend at
api.oratori.apflowhq.com for AI analysis.
- Retention: audio clips are deleted from our servers within 30 days of analysis. The derived scores and transcripts stay with your device record so you can see progress over time; they are deleted when you request account deletion.
Device identifier
- What: a random identifier generated on first launch. It is unique to the app install — not to you or your Apple ID.
- Why: lets our backend associate your recordings, drills, and progress with the right device without requiring an account.
- Retention: stored until you tap “Reset All Data” in Settings, uninstall the app, or request deletion.
Subscription state
- What: your current subscription tier, product ID, and renewal/expiration date.
- How: managed through Apple’s StoreKit and RevenueCat. Apple handles the purchase; RevenueCat relays the entitlement status to the app.
- Retention: stored for the life of the subscription plus a short grace window to honour renewals and refunds.
Profile data
- What: a display name you enter during onboarding (if any), and your reminder preferences.
- Where: display name is stored on our backend; reminder preferences are stored locally on your device only.
Diagnostics
- What: We do not collect diagnostics beyond the aggregate crash reports Apple provides to developers through App Store Connect. Those reports are not tied to your identity.
- To run the AI speech analysis and return feedback to your device.
- To track your progress over time (scores, streaks, tier) so you can see improvement.
- To verify your subscription entitlement and deliver paid features.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not use your recordings to train models that benefit other users or third parties. We do not share recordings with advertisers. We do not sell any data.

You can, at any time:
- Access the data we have about your device by emailing gmohammed0020@gmail.com.
- Delete all of it by emailing the same address. We will delete your backend records within 30 days of a verified request.
- Reset your device identity from the app — open Settings → “Reset All Data”. This does not delete existing backend records; email us for that.
- Cancel your subscription via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
If you are a resident of the EU/UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR (Articles 15–22) including data portability and the right to object. Email us to exercise them.
If you are a resident of California, you have rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
5. Security
Data in transit between the app and our backend is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is stored on managed servers with access restricted to the operator, and backend credentials are rotated on a regular cadence.
6. Children
Oratori is not directed at children under 13 and is age-rated 4+ because it contains no objectionable content — not because it is designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email gmohammed0020@gmail.com and we will delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and note the change in the App Store release notes of the next release.
