These Terms govern your use of Oratori (“the App”), operated by Mohammed Salim Humaiyad (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using Oratori you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
In addition to these Terms, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of Oratori on Apple devices. Where there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA takes precedence for the portions specifically addressed by Apple.
Oratori is an AI-assisted speech coach. It records short audio clips at your direction, sends them to our servers for analysis, and returns feedback to your device. It is an educational/self-improvement tool and not a medical, clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic service.
Oratori does not require you to create a traditional account. A random device identifier is generated on first launch to tie your recordings and progress to this install. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend access for any install that we reasonably believe is violating these Terms or breaking applicable law.
Oratori offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through Apple’s App Store. Current prices and durations are shown on the paywall inside the app before you purchase. As of the date above, available plans include:
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
If you redeem a free trial or introductory offer, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time: on your iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open the App Store, tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All refund requests are handled by Apple under its policy, not by us. To request a refund, submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Oratori is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work to make the analysis accurate and useful, AI feedback can be wrong. Do not rely on Oratori as your only preparation for high-stakes speaking situations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Mohammed Salim Humaiyad be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in the Sultanate of Oman, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this clause affects mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Oratori after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
