How does the analysis work?
PaletteSnap sends your selfie and your questionnaire answers to an AI vision model that reads your skin, hair, and eye color. It returns your seasonal color season (one of twelve, like Deep Autumn), your undertone (warm, cool, or neutral), a 12-color palette with hex values, matching makeup shades, and a list of colors to avoid. Typical analysis time is about ten seconds.
Is there a free trial?
No. PaletteSnap does not offer a free trial. Instead, the first analysis is free on every device, lifetime. The full questionnaire is also free, so you can preview the experience end to end before paying.
How much does PaletteSnap cost?
- Free tier: one analysis per device, lifetime.
- PaletteSnap Weekly: $5.99 per week, auto-renews.
- PaletteSnap Yearly: $39.99 per year, auto-renews.
Why is my free analysis already used?
The free tier is one analysis per device, lifetime, enforced by Apple App Attest. App Attest binds the free quota to your physical iPhone, not to your Apple ID and not to a particular install of the app. Reinstalling PaletteSnap or signing into a different Apple ID does not reset the cap. Subscribe weekly or yearly to run more analyses.
What is the daily limit on a paid plan?
Subscribers can run up to 30 analyses per device per day. The counter resets every 24 hours.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iOS Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose PaletteSnap, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops auto-renewal at the end of the current period. You keep access until that date.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides whether to grant the refund under their standard policy.
The analysis says it is not available on this device. Why?
PaletteSnap requires Apple App Attest, which is only available on a real iPhone. The App will not run an analysis on the iOS Simulator. If you are seeing this message on a real device, make sure you are on iOS 26 or later and that the device clock is correct.
My selfie failed. What can I do?
The AI works best on a single, well-lit, front-facing photo with no heavy filters and no sunglasses. Stand near a window during the day, look straight at the camera, and avoid yellow indoor light if you can. If the analysis still fails, email us with the date and approximate time of the attempt and we will check the logs.
Do you keep my photo?
No. Your selfie is sent over HTTPS to OpenAI for the analysis request. We do not store it on our backend. OpenAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse review per their policy, then delete them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Do you sell my data?
No. PaletteSnap has no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, and no tracking. We do not sell or share data with advertisers. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Email gmohammed0020@gmail.com with a deletion request. We will erase your App Attest key hash and any RevenueCat record associated with your device within 30 days. Past selfies are not retained, so there is nothing to delete on the photo side.
