Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of PaletteSnap (the "App"), an iOS app operated by Mohammed Alquraini ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of service

PaletteSnap is an AI-assisted seasonal color analysis app. You answer a short questionnaire and submit one selfie. The App returns your color season, undertone, a 12-color palette with hex values, makeup shade picks, colors to avoid, and a confidence score.

PaletteSnap provides AI-generated style guidance. It is not a substitute for a licensed image consultant, stylist, dermatologist, or any other professional. Results may vary based on photo lighting, image quality, and subjective preference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PaletteSnap. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions and pricing

PaletteSnap offers two auto-renewing subscription tiers, both sold through the App Store:

• PaletteSnap Weekly (product ID palettesnap_weekly) — $5.99 per week, billed weekly.
• PaletteSnap Yearly (product ID palettesnap_yearly) — $39.99 per year, billed yearly.

There is no free trial on either tier. The App includes a free tier of one analysis per device, lifetime.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops auto-renewal but does not refund the current period.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit photos that are not of yourself, or photos of another person without their consent.
• Submit illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically abuse the App or its backend.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App or its analysis output.
• Use the App to make medical, dermatological, or diagnostic claims about anyone.
• Bypass the rate limits, the free-tier cap, or App Attest device attestation.

We may suspend access for any device or subscription that violates these rules.

6. Intellectual property

The PaletteSnap name, logo, app design, color science prompt, and all associated content are owned by Mohammed Alquraini. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. The analysis output for a selfie you submit is yours to use personally; the underlying system, prompt design, and brand are not.

7. AI disclaimer

The analysis is generated by an AI vision model. AI output can be imperfect, biased by lighting and image quality, and may differ from a human stylist's opinion. PaletteSnap provides style guidance only. The App makes no medical, dermatological, diagnostic, or therapeutic claims.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the analysis will match any expectation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Mohammed Alquraini be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violation of these Terms. Termination does not refund any active subscription period.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Oman, except where Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement requires otherwise.

13. Apple-required terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Mohammed Alquraini, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price; Apple has no further warranty obligation. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
